2011 National Urban League Conference, Boston: Jobs: Rebuilding America

Welcome to the historic City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, PA for the 2013 National Urban League Conference. This year’s theme, Redeem the Dream: Jobs Rebuild America, promises to be an engaging and transformational conference comprised of the world’s leaders in business, politics, education and theology. We look forward to four empowering days and encourage your participation in our power-packed workshops and plenary sessions, including the commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. We have gathered freedom fighters of the movement to share their reflections on the past and their vision for the future. Our job-focused conference also presents the free one-day Small Business Matters Entrepreneurship Summit with sessions on building financial opportunities and strategies for sustainable success. Be sure to also attend the Career & Networking Fair; The N.U.L. Experience Expo Hall with exciting booths, a Volunteer Zone, and presentations on the Empowerment Stage; and the Fourth Annual Project Ready College Fair to assist in financial and academic preparedness.
We thank our title sponsors, Aramark, Comcast NBC Universal, and AmeriHealth Caritas for their generous support as well as our host, the Urban League of Philadelphia, a historic affiliate founded in 1917. Get ready for an unparalleled opportunity to change your life and the course of history.
