Dr. Argie Allen is the Director of Clinical Training at Drexel University’s Couple & Family Therapy Program and is a Clinical member of (AAMFT) The American Association of Marriage & Family Therapist. She received her Ph.D. in Couple & Family Therapy in 2009 from Drexel University.  With over 20 years of experience as a therapist, teacher, advocate and public speaker, Dr. Allen is committed to raising the bar in our community by speaking messages of hope, faith, inspiration and empowerment, while teaching the how-to skills necessary to strengthen families.

Dr. Allen appears regularly on the MSNBC Universal Studio’s Today Show as their relationship expert discussing issues related to how to have and maintain healthy relationships in our families and within our communities. Additionally, known for being energetic, interactive and compassionately candid, Dr. Allen’s skills and knowledge of building strong families and managing healthy relationships has made her a highly sought-after relationship expert with Radio One, Good Day Philadelphia, and Fox National Syndicated Television Shows. She brings a unique presence to the table by integrating both the systemic clinical skills needed to teach families, while incorporating the spiritual principles necessary to strengthen them at a time in our history where the collaboration of both skill sets are necessary to foster a powerful healing experience. Through her clinical and research endeavors, Dr. Allen is committed to helping to rebuild and renew the internal resilience of these families whose faces are still invisible and whose voices not yet heard.
